Obviously we get very excited about everything we have to offer visitors here from walks in the Bluebells- whether it is the tennis court or the fantastic local Jurrassic coast, walks or farm trips, the farm animals, bird spotting, or the comfortable home away from home.

It is easy for us to say – we love to welcome friends old and new to the farm – but sometimes you need an unbiased opinion so we are happy to offer you the comments our previous guests have made. Just scroll down to see reviews split into sections for each property – they are all different and special in their own ways!

We look forward to welcoming you for your stay in any of them,  please bring your wellies!

Features

If you would like a rural, peaceful, tranquil stay Farwood Barton is the place for you!

  • Under floor, Geothermal heating.
  • Rural countryside views from nearly all cottages.
  • Large lawn area, outside tennis court, games barn.
  • Free Wifi.

The Wheel House

Immaculate accommodation, welcoming hosts, beautiful countryside (on the days we could see any of it – shame about the weather!) If you want to dine well, visit Millers Farm Shop, on the A35 at Kilmington, for your food shopping. For an attractive, deserted (at least it was while we were there) beach, try Eype’s Mouth, just west of Bridport.

A wonderful stay, in a lovely house. We all enjoyed it very much – even the weather didn’t put us off! And our ages ranged from 1 to 65.

Walk from Otterton to Budleigh Salterton! As well as tennis and ping pong and seeing farm animals. Thank you very much.

Such a lovely farm and cottage. Thank you so much for a great week. Weather had been up and down, but still managed to get our and do stuff!
We recommend the cycle route Exmouth – Topsham. Fab!
Thank you for our farm tour, it brightened our rainy day. So nice to know we are funding local farmers and not people’s holiday homes.
Also amazing to see new born calves at the bottom of the garden.
Thanks Judith & Julian

Thank you for a great week, the cottage has been very comfortable and cosy with everything we need. Despite the bad weather we haven’t struggled – thanks to the games barn and Russ and Rex who have kept our boys fully entertained! Thanks for the farm tour, which we will always remember (and the scones too!)

Wonderful accommodation, clean and comfortable. We had a few days but it was cosy indoors.
The views are to die for and we wish we were stopping longer, but i’m sure we will be back. We will recommend the farm to our family and friends.
Thank you.

We have had a wonderfully relaxing week here! It started with a warm welcome and a cream tea – there is no better way to start a holiday!
Thank you for sharing your farm with us, we hope to see you again next year!

30th June – 7th July

A huge thank you for a very warm welcome. Your cream tea was much appreciated Judith, a lovely touch! What a beautiful and stunning part of the country this is. Weather very mixed, got wet a few times but it hasn’t stopped us visiting many places. We have stayed in several self catering places up and down the country, but have to say the ‘Apple Loft’ is in first place now, it really is ‘top notch’. We will certainly recommend it to our friends and family.
